May 18, 2010

I have decided to start writing a journal. I've been told for several years to do so, and have tried on various occasions to do so, but I always seemed fail at being persistent. I think through this private blog I can better keep track of my daily life activities.

Today was kind of an ordinary day for me. School is almost over for the year, which is awesome. There are so many things I would like to do over the summer. The last day of the school year I want to have a Silly String Spy game. I'm thinking about doing it at the Gateway mall. Being the designer of this scheme, I don't believe I'll be able to participate in it, but merely document the experience. So I will have to charge several cameras and have them at the ready. I think I will start one team at one end of the mall and their opponents on the opposite end. I will have a bag of some sort in plain sight, probably closer to the defenders. One team will attempt to defend the bag while the other team tries to steal it. So basically, a one sided capture the flag. I think this would be so fun if I got a lot of people to do it, hopefully my senior friend Skyler will hype this up with other people.

Mom has decided to use her extra grant money to buy a fire pit, lawn mower, and other things for the yard. We've done a pretty good job at making the back yard look nice. Hopefully I'll be able to invite friends to do barbecues and such over the summer. I like having friends over, but I find it nearly impossible with my siblings constantly messing up the basement. I know, I contribute to the mess as well, but I wish they were just as motivated to cleaning up as I am. Hopefully I can turn a new leaf this summer.

I want to do a lot of traveling. I want to see my relatives in the Philippines and just experience the culture I should have the last time I visited. I want to go live in Indiana for a short period of time, just to help inspire me in my novel (Subject 1142.) Well, not just that. I'd really like to see my mom's family there too. Sarah seems to have a lot on her plate and I think I would like to help with her kids.

I want to go on a road trip with Miah, just up to Wyoming to nab some fireworks for airsoft usage. I need some fire crackers for some homemade grenades, and I'm sure I could get them here in Utah, but going on a trip just seems more exciting. Especially with my friend who I don't see so much.

I'm almost brand new to airsoft, and I love it so much. It gives me so much opportunity and helps me develop my military style writings and film ideas. I keep thinking of business ventures related to airsoft.

As of right now I'm getting that feeling of regret. Regret of my work ethic in school. I think it happens every school year and I wish I would work harder. I did really good at the beginning of this school year, so I actually did improve. The only thing I need to do is continue the improvements. I'm also trying to get a job right now. I'm hoping to work at Cinemark now that it's open behind the Shopko. It's so close and I know if I got a job there I would be so content. If not I guess I'll have to work at Lagoon. I hear they'll take anybody. I'm hoping that this summer will spring a lot of opportunity for me.
